Placements24 is assisting a globally recognized engineering and design firm in recruiting a Lead Structural Engineer to drive the structural division on a fully remote basis. This executive role requires strategic direction, technical leadership, and project oversight from a home office while guiding international projects.
You will mentor engineers, oversee complex designs, review calculations, and engage clients to support business development.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Structural/Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive structural engineering design and project leadership experience.
- Expert in designing complex structures (high-rise, long-span bridges, industrial facilities).
- Extensive experience with advanced structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, ABAQUS) and BIM technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the structural engineering department.
- Oversee design and analysis of complex projects across sectors, ensuring technical excellence and code compliance.
- Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers, fostering growth and high performance.
- Develop and implement innovative design solutions with new technologies and materials.
- Review and approve critical structural designs, calculations, and specifications.
