Job summary

Redtree Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for lead responsibility in industrial facilities, energy infrastructure, and data centers. The role combines hands-on structural analysis with technical leadership and mentorship of junior staff.

You will oversee steel and concrete design, apply codes, interact with clients, and drive project success from concept through construction in a fully remote setting within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial/power sectors.
• PE license required.
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software STAAD Pro, RAM, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE.
• Strong communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, foundations and supports.
• Serve as technical lead on calculations, reports, specs, and construction documents.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Support project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Lead quality reviews and technical evaluations.
• Lead proposal development and scope definition.
• Provide senior-level engineering support during procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning.
