Job summary

Comcast is seeking a senior software engineer to drive design and development of scalable cloud-based applications. You will use Python and Bash to build software, manage Kubernetes and AWS ECS for container orchestration, and implement CI/CD using Jenkins and CodeDeploy.

You will mentor junior engineers, support customer deployments, and ensure robust observability with Grafana. This 100% remote role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Seven years of experience building software and web apps with Python and Bash
• Experience administering AWS cloud infrastructure and managed services
• Proficiency in Grafana, Linux systems administration, and cloud-native networking

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new software and web apps using Python and Bash
• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and AWS ECS
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and AWS CodeDeploy
• Provide production support and mentor junior engineers
