Job summary

Comcast Corporation is seeking a software quality engineer to contribute to the RDK Operations team. You will develop and maintain test automation frameworks in Java using Selenium and TestNG, build pipelines with Jenkins and Concourse, and manage dependencies with Maven.

You will work with Kubernetes, Docker, and databases like MongoDB while coordinating via JIRA/Confluence. The role supports on-site collaboration with occasional remote work per policy, and requires a degree in CS/Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 2+ years experience developing test automation frameworks and scripts in Java using Selenium and TestNG.
• Experience setting up dependencies, building Java apps with Maven.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, SVN for version control; CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Concourse.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services; using JIRA, ALM, Confluence for task management.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud services and monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the RDK Operations team transforming automated testing methodologies at scale.
• Develop test automation frameworks and scripts in Java using Selenium and TestNG.
• Build and package Java apps with Maven; manage dependencies.
• Set up version control with Git/GitHub/SVN and build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Concourse.
• Design test frameworks using Python, Shell, and Bash scripting; use REST and SOAP services.
• Collaborate with teams to support cloud services at scale and ensure test coverage.
