Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician for its Virtual Health Assessment program. This remote role oversees APP supervision and clinical leadership across telemedicine visits, with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Applicants must hold an MD/DO, be board-certified, and have 5+ years of primary care experience with an unrestricted license to practice in GA/TX/FL or IMLCC. Remote work, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Full practice licensure in good standing in Florida plus three of the listed states.
• Residency completed in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• MD or DO from an ACGME-accredited medical school.
• ABMS board certification corresponding to residency.
• 5+ years of primary care or urgent care experience.
• Unrestricted license to practice in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC.
• Experience supervising NP and PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high quality patient care via telemedicine with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Serve as clinical escalation point for the care delivery team.
• Develop clinical guidelines and participate in care-model improvement projects.
• Conduct quality assurance audits and support regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of patient safety and accountable care.
• Support growth and development of team and address performance issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with laws.
