Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment team and oversee APPs delivering telemedicine care to a patient panel from a remote home office.

The Lead Physician will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment and coordinate care with physicians, APPs, RNs, and MAs in a multidisciplinary setting. This is a full-time remote role with a standard Mon–Fri schedule, occasional late shift and weekend coverage, supported by comprehensive benefits and a

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an ACGME accredited medical school.
• Completion of medical residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to completed residency program or additional training.
• 5+ years of primary care or urgent care experience.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC.
• Experience in NP and PA supervision.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine while working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide supervision to a group of APPs delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed.
• Support development of clinical guidelines and continuous improvement of the care model.
• Conduct quality assurance audits and ensure adherence to state supervisory audit requirements.
• Ensure a culture of patient safety and superior member experience.
• Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients and oversee growth of your team.
