Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Parcel Insights & Pricing to lead daily pricing support, analyze new business opportunities, and reprice existing contracts.

The role involves building and maintaining analytical, pricing, and P&L forecasting models and training the analysts reporting to this position. You will interface with clients and prospects, collaborate with finance, business development, and parcel operations to support decision-making, develop pricing tools, and produce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• Master's Degree in MBA, Business, Finance or related field (Preferred).
• 4 years or more in Pricing experience (Required).
• Knowledge of Excel, DOMO (Required).
• Python Advanced (Preferred).
• Technical proficiency in Strategic Analyses (Required).
• Proficiency with computer applications and sophisticated PC spreadsheets (Required).
• Knowledge of Logistics (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Daily pricing support and pricing oversight for new and existing customers; support decision-making with analytics.
• Lead employee development, staffing plans, training, and performance appraisals for analysts.
• Develop tools for pricing strategy and analytics models; contribute to roadmap of analytics.
• Assist client and prospect facing initiatives to respond to client needs and aid business development.
• Support P&L forecasting with finance for client revenues and margins.
• Develop and maintain automated client-facing and internal reporting dashboards.
• Assist in annual price increase processes to ensure support for GRI process.
