Qualifications

• Current credentials from AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CCS-P).
• Minimum of five years’ experience in coding from provider documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Code CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and modifiers according to medical documentation.
• Perform quality assurance reviews for accurate coding.
• Communicate with clients regarding coding clarifications.
