AnewHealth is seeking a Professional Remote Medical Coder to code ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS for reimbursement while ensuring compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and company policies. This role is fully remote, with an expected 40-hour workweek and availability outside normal hours to meet client needs.

You will review medical records, perform data validations, and communicate value-added findings to clients, while staying current with coding guidelines and regulatory changes in a remote work setting.

Qualificações

• CCS/CPC/CPC-A/CCA with at least 1 year coding experience.
• RHIA is a plus.
• At least 6 months ICD-10-CM coding experience.
• MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Perform medical record reviews and code to highest specificity per CMS/HIPAA.
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of records for completeness and accuracy.
• Risk adjustment data validations using AHA guidelines.
• Communicate with clients to share insights and improvements.
• Continuously learn updates to stay expert in the field.
