Job summary

Truist in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Financial Crimes model analytics function. You will steer data strategy, oversee model development, monitoring, and reporting, and partner with stakeholders to align analytics with business objectives.

This role requires guiding a team, ensuring data quality, and driving improvements in controls and efficiency. Applicants should have strong SAS experience, seven years in relevant analytics, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Analytical, project management, and organizational skills with metrics, reporting, data, modeling, and/or technology initiatives.
• Proven management ability; experience leading projects and teams to successful outcomes.
• Seven years of SAS experience with application to large data problems and relevant statistical procedures; ability to test, maintain, and monitor models, including: threshold tuning, sensitivity analyses, and scenario testing
• Strong written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a high-stress, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with teammates in multiple geographic locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for financial crimes model analytics initiatives and data strategy and/or data quality; manage staffing, coaching, and career development.
• Develop, maintain, and supervise monitoring, performance reporting, and change-management processes; ensure models meet business objectives.
• Identify and recommend model, process, and/or technology changes to improve operations and controls.
• Ensure delivery of accurate analytics, reporting, or data insights for decision-making.
• Champion data quality and data management within Financial Crimes for complete, consistent data.
