Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician in the Minneapolis area. This remote-from-home role includes daily travel to customer sites, occasional overnight stays, and a company-provided vehicle.

You will deliver on-site repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance of UPS, batteries, and power distribution solutions. Join a team with strong health and safety priorities, extensive training, and a defined technical career track.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Candidate must hold a current, unrestricted driver’s license and pass background checks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
• Travel daily to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Provide on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance.
• Participate in safety audits and ongoing compliance programs.
• Utilize training and safety resources to work confidently and safely.
