Renewable Energy Systems Ltd seeks a Lead Estimator – High Voltage/BESS to prepare cost estimates for substations, battery storage, and related systems, integrating labor, materials, equipment, and productivity into unit costs.

The role leads a team of estimators, reviews RFPs, coordinates with Preconstruction, and ensures timely, accurate bids for Bid-Build and EPC projects across the US; remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Leads multiple complex project estimate assignments with minimal supervision.
• Reviews RFP documents to determine scopes and pricing elements.
• Leads estimators for respective SOWs on Bid-Build and EPC bids.
• Collaborates with Preconstruction for engineering support and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs to calculate estimate quantities for substation EPC scopes up to 500kV.
• Quantify resources and production rates for substations, BESS, solar, wind projects.
• Maintain market data to estimate construction costs and soft costs.
• Identify risks and record in Risk Register.
