Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator II for PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This remote role reports to the Chief Estimator and focuses on developing utility-scale estimates, including self-perform and subcontracted scopes.

Qualifications

• Seven years estimating experience in solar PV and EPC environments.
• Experience with design/build and EPC concepts.
• Proficiency in takeoff, RFQs, and vendor pricing evaluation.
• Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of estimating, planning, scheduling and cost engineering activities.
• Accurately perform material quantity take-offs for renewable energy projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and RFQ processes.
• Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships and pricing analyses.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate pricing, and reconcile scopes of work.
