Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Lead Systems Analyst – Epic to oversee a team of application analysts and drive end-to-end Epic system builds. The role reports to the Application Manager and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and governance.

This fully remote opportunity supports our national footprint across the United States. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in systems analysis, 5+ years in healthcare IT with 3+ years Epic build, and Epic Willow InPatient

Qualifications

• Epic Willow InPatient Certification required.
• Willow Ambulatory and/or Inventory highly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in systems analysis or similar roles.
• 5+ years of healthcare IT experience, including 3 years of Epic build experience.
• 1 year of leadership/mentorship of a team or project.
• Epic certification within six months of employment (for internal COH candidates within 9 months).

Responsibilities

• Leads Application Analysts under the direction of the Application Manager.
• Plans and oversees the team work activities including prioritization of work, coordination of resources, and meeting plans.
• Ensures timely completion of high-quality deliverables including project plans, design documents, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum and activation plans.
• Actively supports operational and project work streams.
• Ensures deliverables are completed in accordance with City of Hope governance structure.
• Ensures ticket submissions are complete, thorough and assigned in a timely manner.
• Escalates non-resolved issues to the Application Manager and across teams as needed.
• Communicates status of work plans to the Application Manager and across teams as needed.
• Onboards newly hired team members and instructs them on Connect Hope policies / Epic System.
