Job summary

The Senior Epic Application Analyst at Memorial Hermann Health System is responsible for optimizing information systems using Epic applications. Qualifications

• Four years of increasingly responsible experience in Healthcare Information Systems or a combination of MIS.
• Industry training with knowledge in a complex Information System.
• Previous Epic or Health Information Systems experience required.
• Experience in supporting complex problems and assisting other Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs into technical solutions for Epic systems.
• Provide technical knowledge in support of Epic and related applications.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge supporting development projects.
• Contribute to training sessions for staff.
• Provide effective customer service to users.

Skills

Epic Willow Ambulatory certification and build experience

Strong understanding of ambulatory pharmacy workflows

Experience with Epic upgrades, system maintenance, and application support

Knowledge of medication loads, pricing updates, and insurance updates

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and support complex projects

Experience supporting retail, specialty, or home health pharmacy operations

Education

Associate’s degree preferred

Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification required
