AECOM is seeking a Design Manager for Data Centers to be based remotely in the U.S. The role oversees design for colocation and hyper-scale data center projects from due diligence through construction administration, with opportunities for career mobility and client-facing leadership.

Qualifications include a architecture/engineering background with 10+ years of experience, PE/Architect license preferred, and leadership in data-center projects. Some travel and telecommuting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with ten years' relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading multi-discipline design teams for data centers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead data center due diligence and design teams to deliver projects on schedule and to high quality across architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS/EPMS.
• Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
• Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage and communicate change within AECOM and to clients.
• Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for new and add/move/change data center design projects.
• Develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders/buyers.
