GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Behind the Meter Lead Contract Manager to provide strategic and hands-on commercial contract management for NAM BTM projects, focusing on execution, negotiation, administration, and risk mitigation.

The role requires leading contract administration across project lifecycles, managing subcontractor and supplier matters, and developing claims strategies to protect GE Vernova's position. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Legal Studies, Business, Commercial Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract drafting, contract negotiation, and commercial management in a fast-paced project or technology-driven environment.
• Experience supporting EPC contract project delivery and contract management for complex commercial or infrastructure projects, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract environments.
• Experience with claims management, change orders, variation orders, and dispute resolution.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

• Review, interpret, and negotiate prime contract terms and conditions, including subcontracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and supply agreements, to protect GE Vernova's commercial position throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare, draft, submit, and negotiate claims, change orders, and variation orders. Develop and execute claims strategies to preserve contractual rights and improve commercial outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and address commercial and contractual risks through proactive contract administration, ensuring back-to-back alignment of obligations across subcontractors, suppliers, and partners.
• Partner with Sourcing, Procurement, Project Management, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to align on contract execution strategy, resolve issues, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects.
• Maintain accurate contract records, formal correspondence, KPIs, and performance metrics in company systems to ensure compliance, transparency, and reporting accuracy.
