Job summary

Moody's is seeking an Asst Dir-Applied AI Engineer to build and lead AI-powered software solutions across Moody's, from discovery to production. You will identify high-friction business problems, design full-stack AI-powered applications, and own delivery end-to-end while guiding technical tradeoffs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with the Applied AI Engineering team, and responsible AI governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong backend with Python; frontend with TypeScript/React.
• Experience with Go, AWS, Kubernetes; production AI workloads.
• Experience with large language models and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Ability to lead projects and communicate tradeoffs.
