Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead, Technical Compliance to drive AI-driven automation and analytics within compliance operations. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions that strengthen controls and reporting.

Remote position (US-based candidates only). The role offers a compensation range of $140,000 to $200,000 per year with equity and discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or international equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in compliance technology and data analysis in financial services or consulting.
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL are essential.
• Familiarity with Databricks and PySpark is a plus.
• Experience developing AI-enabled automation solutions is required.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical designs and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven automation in compliance workflows.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve compliance processes and controls.
• Evaluate AI technologies for compliance suitability based on risk and business value.
• Oversee development and optimization of the transaction monitoring system.
• Support a customer risk scoring model reflecting a risk-based approach.
• Enhance sanctions controls and maintain the sanctions screening tool.
• Develop automated reporting solutions using Python or SQL.
