Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product lending business. You will translate regulatory obligations into automated data checks and guide a supporting analyst while partnering with Engineering, Legal, Product, and bank partners.

The role emphasizes evidence-grade rigor, AI-assisted development, and the ability to communicate complex findings to legal and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data roles in regulated industry.
• Advanced SQL and experience with cloud data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Knowledge of consumer credit regulations (TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, EFTA/Reg E, FCRA, SCRA, MLA, TCPA).
• Ability to translate regulations into data questions and checks.
• Experience training or guiding junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and govern automated compliance monitoring with rule-based controls.
• Serve as data owner for regulatory examinations and bank audits; validate results across sources.
• Triangulate data anomalies and route to remediation with evidence.
• Map automated checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Lead automation roadmap and build self-service data pipelines, with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Maintain data environment, runbooks, and methodology documentation.
• Provide onboarding/training and prioritize work for a junior analyst.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners.
