Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to guide strategic deployments for enterprise customers and shape the operating model, standards, and technical direction of the forward deployment function.

You will work directly with customers to understand requirements, design production-grade solutions, and own projects from discovery through deployment, while driving reliability and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar.
• Experience building and deploying production software.
• Strong systems, API, integration, and debugging skills.
• Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High ownership and ability to drive projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand requirements.
• Build, deploy, and customize production solutions.
• Develop integrations, APIs, and internal tooling.
• Translate feedback into product/engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across app and infra layers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve platform.
• Own projects from discovery to deployment.
• Develop reusable solutions scalable across customers.
• Improve deployment docs, observability, and reliability.
