Job summary

Oscar Health in the United States is seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to oversee care delivery in our Virtual Health Assessment program. The role emphasizes telemedicine, clinical leadership, and supervision of APPs within a multidisciplinary team.

The position supports a remote work model with travel for meetings/events, requires licensure in good standing and board certification, and offers a competitive base salary plus benefits and bonus

Qualifications

• Active full practice licensure in good standing.
• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from an accredited program.
• Board certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC).
• 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience.
• 1+ year experience delivering care in a community-based / in-person setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs).
• Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader.
• Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
