Job summary

Nuvei, a Canadian fintech, is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager based in Mexico or remote to drive and expand its LATAM partnership ecosystem, accelerating growth across Latin America.

You will cultivate relationships with platforms, technology providers, introducers, agencies and other strategic partners, while collaborating with Sales, Product, Integration, Marketing and Operations to deliver joint initiatives that maximize partner value and growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or ecosystem management in payments, fintech, SaaS, or tech.
• Strong understanding of online payments, acquiring, gateways, APMs, and related services.
• Established LATAM payments/tech network desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
• Based in Mexico with willingness and ability to travel across LATAM.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the LATAM partnerships strategy, with a primary focus on identifying, developing, and growing strategic partner relationships across the region.
• Manage and strengthen existing partnerships while proactively identifying and onboarding new partners that align with Nuvei’s business objectives and growth strategy.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and become the main point of contact for strategic partners in LATAM.
• Understand partners’ business models, growth strategies, technical challenges, and market opportunities to position Nuvei as the preferred payments partner.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Integration, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver successful joint initiatives and maximize partner value.
• Drive partner engagement through regular business reviews, joint go-to-market activities, and relationship-building initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and emerging business models.
