Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist to deliver high-quality technical onboarding experiences. You will work within the Education & Enablement team, coordinating with Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, Product, and Revenue Operations across Latin America to ensure scalable onboarding.

The role is full-time and remote based in Latin America; if near an office, you may work from there 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in customer onboarding, education, training, or similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese for onboarding across Latin America.
• Experience with GIS, remote sensing, or geospatial data platforms.
• Hands-on coding/scripting (preferably Python) to understand workflows.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and onboarding best practices.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional onboarding activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored technical onboarding experiences to help customers adopt Planet products and data.
• Lead onboarding kickoff calls and coordinate activities across Latin America.
• Provide ongoing technical enablement to strategic customers beyond initial onboarding.
• Build relationships and share best practices to support long-term adoption.
• Design and improve onboarding resources and learning materials across Education platforms.
• Coordinate activities across Education, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Revenue Ops.
• Monitor engagement and feedback to improve onboarding experiences.
