Job summary

Amwins Benefits is seeking a Large Group Manager to lead the Large Group and Mid-Market employee benefits team. The role focuses on coaching a 10-person group, driving performance, and ensuring a top-tier client experience, with remote or hybrid work options and East Coast preference.

You will guide plan design, underwriting concepts, and compliance, while building scalable processes, engaging the team, and partnering with Sales to deliver superior service to brokers and clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the Group Benefits industry with Mid-Market or Large Group experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, or managing a team in account management or client service.
• Expertise in Large Group plan design, underwriting concepts, and compliance.
• Proven ability to improve operational processes in a fast-paced service environment and partner with Sales.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on Large Group and Mid-Market benefits for team, Sales, and partners.
• Lead a team of 10, with regular 1:1s and development plans.
• Own performance management including goal setting and reviews.
• Develop and improve Large Group processes for scalable execution.
• Foster engagement and growth-oriented culture within the team.
