Qualifications

• 6+ years in employee benefits with 4+ years in brokerage for 100–1,000 employees.
• Mastery of group benefits and ERISA compliance.
• Active CA Accident Life & Health license required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, in-person and virtual.
• Proficient with MS Office and benefits administration software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of assigned client book across sizes and designs.
• Manage renewals, marketing, and carrier negotiations.
• Foster client relationships to support retention.
• Lead client meetings, renewals, enrollments, and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with Producers on new client onboarding.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to grow revenue.
• Educate clients on compliance and ERISA responsibilities.
• Maintain industry knowledge on regulations and trends.
• Ensure ERISA compliance is met timely.
• Build carrier and vendor relationships.
• Travel up to 40% in Q4.
