New York Life's Group Benefit Solutions is seeking a Senior Associate, Associate Account Executive to support mid-size and large clients in life, accident, disability, and absence programs. This remote role targets growth, retention, and service in a developmental path toward an Account Executive position.

You will manage a book of 250–499 lives, partner with brokers, and coordinate renewals, underwriting negotiations, and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Life, Accident, Disability and/or Leave benefits preferred.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; active listening.
• High-energy, self-motivated with a sense of urgency and take-charge attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to leverage technology/tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of clients (250–499 lives) focused on retention, growth, and service.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities with clients and brokers.
• Coordinate renewals, census collection, underwriting negotiations, and renewal recommendations.
• Represent New York Life at industry events to expand knowledge and networks.
• Collaborate within a matrix organization with underwriting, sales, and service partners.
