Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Diligence Coordinator (Contract Position) based in the United States. The role supports land and title due diligence for forest conservation projects, verifying ownership, signatory authority, parcel identifiers, and risk factors.

You will collaborate with sales, legal, forestry, and operations to maintain audit-ready records and help reduce downstream risks.

Qualifications

Six years of relevant real estate or land‑based transaction experience.
Substantial experience researching ownership and chain of title.
Ability to review title reports, deeds, and encumbrances with accuracy.
Proven ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to organize diligence reports.

Responsibilities

Land and title due diligence: review title reports, deeds, liens, and encumbrances to assess ownership and status.
Ownership and parcel verification: research ownership, signatory authority, parcel identifiers, and legal descriptions.
Mapping and property research: verify parcel boundaries using GIS and county records.
Diligence reporting: prepare clear internal reports and maintain organized records.
Audit readiness: ensure files are complete, defensible, and ready for review.
Contracting support: assist with final diligence checks and coordinated resolution of issues.
Process improvement: identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
Pipeline coordination: manage multiple transactions and track outstanding requirements.
