Job summary

Forest Carbon Works is seeking a Diligence Coordinator to support land and title due diligence for IFM carbon project opportunities. You will review ownership, confirm signatory authority, verify parcel IDs, identify risks, and coordinate issue resolution with sales, legal, forestry, and operations teams.

The role is a short-term contract, hourly, with no benefits, and requires experience in real estate/title work and the ability to work with remote teams across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in real estate, title, or land acquisition/transaction work.
• Experience researching ownership and chain of title, reviewing title reports and encumbrances.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and title due diligence including title reports, deeds, and liens.
• Verify ownership, signatory authority, and parcel IDs; summarize findings.
• Maintain audit-ready diligence files and coordinate issue resolution with teams.
