Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Laboratory Informatics & Technology Architect, Full-Time Remote, to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of technology solutions that support the future of laboratory medicine, with a strong focus on digital pathology. This role requires residence in allowed states and involves 30% travel to Wilmington, DE and Orlando, FL.

The architect will partner with pathologists, laboratory leaders, operational teams, vendors, and Information Systems to ensure

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience collaborating with business leaders, IT leaders, vendors, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Project management certification and/or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support digital pathology implementation planning, including current-state workflow assessment and go-live preparation.
Partner with pathology, laboratory operations, vendors, and IS teams to support whole slide imaging, image management, and interoperability.
Develop technology strategies and roadmaps for laboratory applications and digital pathology platforms.
Lead enterprise architecture design and maintenance for lab applications and EMR systems.
Establish technology governance processes such as Architecture Review Board or Data Governance Committee.
Research, evaluate, and select technology solutions; lead evaluations; assist with budget estimates.
