Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Laboratory Informatics & Technology Architect for a full-time remote role. Must reside in designated states including Florida.

You will lead strategy, design, and delivery of technology solutions supporting laboratory medicine, digital pathology, and interfaces with LIS and EMR systems. The role requires a Master’s degree, 5+ years IT experience in large environments, and CIIP certification (or within 12 months).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of information technology experience in large-scale environments.
• CIIP certification required or to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, and delivery of technology solutions for laboratory medicine and digital pathology.
• Partner with pathologists, lab leaders, and IS teams to ensure secure, scalable, interoperable solutions.
• Develop roadmaps for laboratory applications, digital pathology platforms, and EMR integrations.
• Guide architecture governance processes and vendor engagements across enterprise systems.
• Support production issue resolution and long-term system planning.
• Mentor team members and act as a trusted advisor for digital pathology initiatives.
