Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank seeks a Learning and Development Specialist I to design and deliver training for the Financial Solutions Network team. You will lead in-person classes for new and existing employees using a mix of facilitation skills and e-learning to ensure effective learning transfer.

You will maintain curricula, advise on operations improvements, and stay current with adult learning theory, Need2Know updates, and regulatory content. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Two years of branch sales and operations experience is required.
• Must register and maintain current NMLS registration.
• Facilitation experience preferred; professional certification in facilitation or L&D preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Webex, LMS tasks.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; professional demeanor.
• May have frequent overnight stays or extended travel; telecommuting possible when not facilitating.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person classes for new and existing employees using varied delivery modes.
• Deliver virtual classroom curricula when appropriate and ensure learning transfer.
• Provide input to improve curricula and contribute to learning solutions projects.
• Maintain assigned curricula and ensure regulatory content accuracy.
• Collaborate with peers and SMEs to keep material up to date.
