Job summary

Union Bank is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to coordinate, deliver, and continuously enhance training programs across the Bank. The role partners with leaders, mentors, and subject matter experts to ensure effective onboarding, regulatory training, and ongoing professional development.

Travel to branch locations will be required to provide on-site training and support. The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with a solid background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of banking, training, coaching, or related experience.
• Some travel to branch locations for on-site training.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Teller and/or deposit account opening experience.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, or blended training programs.
• Experience maintaining training records or learning management systems.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, operations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver, track, and continuously improve training and development programs bank-wide.
• Maintain learning records and support regulatory training requirements.
• Develop training resources and facilitate learning programs.
• Partner with department leaders, mentors, and SMEs to ensure onboarding and development success.
• Assist with employee development initiatives that promote organizational effectiveness and customer service excellence.
