Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist in Minneapolis, MN for a 6-month contract. The role requires 3–5 years in L&D, with expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and LMS tools.

The position offers a mix of onsite and remote work with a strong emphasis on stakeholder collaboration. You will design training materials, deliver both virtual and in-person sessions, and support talent management initiatives while partnering with leaders to identify learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in Learning & Development, Training, Instructional Design or related field.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience developing training materials, job aids, and e-learning content.
• Experience facilitating virtual and/or in-person training sessions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint.
• Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate or Camtasia.
• Experience with Workday Talent modules is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain training materials including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and user guides.
• Facilitate virtual and instructor-led training sessions on topics such as leadership development, performance management, and employee development planning.
• Support talent management initiatives including performance management, succession planning, and talent review programs.
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop effective training solutions.
• Track program participation, manage enrollments, and maintain training records and reporting.
• Translate complex or technical information into engaging and easy-to-understand learning content.
• Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and training program coordination.
