Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in English/technical writing.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or knowledge management.
• Excellent command of English grammar, style, and editing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Experience with desktop publishing tools from Adobe and Microsoft.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to undergo federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and SMEs to understand content, product, and documentation needs.
• Analyze existing content for reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Review drawings, announcements, specs, mockups, and product samples with designers and developers.
• Use graphics to improve end users' understanding of systems and products.
• Translate requirements into documentation changes, adhering to standards.
• Proofread to ensure spelling, grammar, and style accuracy.
• Determine the scope of work and required documentation for projects.
• Ensure documentation complies with overarching policy requirements and end-user needs.
• Produce clear, concise technical documentation for diverse audiences.
• Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers.
