Job summary

ABB is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager - Data Centers to implement the global solutions strategy and drive sales, market share, and customer satisfaction in the Data Center portfolio within the US. You will collaborate with marketing and sales teams, manage assigned customers across product lines, and promote ABB Solutions through trainings and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative technical sales with 12+ month sales cycle.
• Attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, and result oriented.
• Willing to travel within the United States and some overseas up to 50% of time.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
• Applicants must have work authorization to work permanently in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business, increase ABB market share and exceed sales targets for the ABB Group Data Center portfolio.
• Manage and own assigned customers for all product lines, including orders, forecasting and issue resolution.
• Engage with global, regional and country leads to develop and deliver action plans that secure opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, hold trainings and events to promote ABB Solutions to the sub-segment.
