Job summary

Demco, Inc. is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to partner with K–12 schools and public libraries, selling learning space solutions and furniture.

This remote, territory-based role involves in-field travel and strong relationship-building with educators and library leaders. You'll spend 4–5 days a week in the field, conduct site visits, take measurements, coordinate with design teams, and participate in regional tradeshows to showcase our products and grow our brand in education

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• K–12 sales experience with school purchasing processes.
• Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and develop new business.
• Willingness to travel to tradeshow events and customer sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication; cross-department collaboration.
• Adaptable, fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Start your day by reviewing pipeline, following up on conversations, and planning outbound calls and emails.
• Connect with K–12 schools and public libraries to present learning space and furniture solutions and identify opportunities.
• Spend 4–5 days per week traveling in territory visiting educators and library leaders to build relationships.
