Demco is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to partner with K–12 schools and public libraries, delivering learning space and furniture solutions that spark curiosity and support learners.

You’ll work remotely in a territory-based role, spending 4–5 days a week in the field, building relationships with educators and library leaders, taking measurements, capturing photos, and guiding proposals with design teams to inspire classrooms and library spaces.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• K–12 Sales Experience: prior or current experience selling into K–12 school districts.
• Sales Drive: outbound prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business relationships.
• Physical Readiness: able to participate in tradeshows, including setup and breakdown, and occasionally assist with on-site installations or sample deliveries.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable presenting to educators, administrators, and library professionals.
• Collaboration: Team player who thrives in a supportive environment and works well across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adaptability: Excited to learn, grow, and navigate a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
• Territory Travel: Comfortable spending time on the road, independently managing a territory, and occasionally traveling overnight to meet customer and business needs.

Responsabilités

• Start your day by reviewing your pipeline, following up on conversations, and planning outbound call and email strategy.
• Connect with K–12 schools and public libraries, introducing them to learning space and furniture solutions, uncovering needs, and identifying opportunities.
• Travel 4–5 days a week within your territory to meet educators and library leaders and showcase products.
• Visit customer sites to take measurements, capture photos, and collaborate with design teams on proposals.
• Represent the brand at regional tradeshows, engaging with attendees and growing market presence.
• Log CRM activity and coordinate next steps with internal teams.
