Job summary

Cengage Group in the United States seeks a Field Sales Consultant for K12 in Minnesota (Remote) to engage prospective customers, present digital and print solutions, and drive growth within the assigned territory.

You will meet or exceed annual sales goals, develop strategic territory plans, provide accurate forecasts using company tools, and build strong relationships with educators, district staff, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 2 years teaching and education sales preferred.
• Proven record of sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
