Cengage Group is seeking a Field Sales Consultant for K12 in Minnesota (Remote). You will engage in sales calls to prospective customers, presenting digital and print product solutions and driving growth within the territory.

The role requires teaching experience and a proven sales track record; you will forecast activities, build strategic plans, and participate in industry events. Base compensation includes a substantial base with a variable component.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Strong competency in the use of business technologies; CRM and MS Office; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
