Job summary

Cengage Group in Minnesota is seeking a Field Sales Consultant K12 (Remote) to engage prospective customers, present digital and print product solutions, and exceed annual sales goals.

You will build strategic territory plans, drive new business, forecast activity, and participate in industry events. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years teaching/education sales are preferred; strong communication and CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 2 years teaching and education sales experience preferred.
• Proven record of sales growth and meeting goals.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to transport materials to customer locations; lift 50 lbs unaided.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
