Job summary

Strongpoint Partners, in partnership with HowardSimon Retirement, seeks a Junior Retirement Plan Administrator to own a caseload of defined contribution plans and support 401(k) and cross-tested plans from start to finish in a fully remote role across the United States.

The candidate will perform compliance testing, communicate with clients on plan mechanics, and grow with a firm that values innovation and client service excellence. Preference for candidates in Central & Eastern time zones.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retirement plan experience.
• 2-4 years of client services experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM software.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong client service mindset with proactive problem-solving.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, able to work across teams.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Integrity and commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic non-discrimination testing
• Communicate directly with clients on plan mechanics
• Research and present on compliance topics
• Shadow Senior Retirement Plan Administrator to increase testing
• Utilize technology to perform duties
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Maintain team approach by assisting in areas appropriate
• Own stewardship of all assigned business relationships
• Perform other duties as assigned
