The Jira/Confluence Administrator will shape governance, configure projects, and implement automation to empower teams across the organization from a remote LATAM location. The role covers maintaining workflows, screens, and permissions, managing marketplace apps, and ensuring security and scalability while providing end-user training and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence
• Strong understanding of Jira workflow design, schemes, admin settings, and permission models
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management (SLAs, queues, portals, forms)
• Experience with Confluence space administration, content structuring, and permissions
• Familiarity with automation tools (Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner)
• Familiarity with Atlassian REST APIs
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable Atlassian solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Advanced English

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and schemes
• Administer Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, macros, and add-ons
• Implement and maintain automation rules across Jira and Confluence
• Manage user and group access following security and governance standards
• Oversee installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of Marketplace apps
• Configure and maintain service projects, request types, SLAs, queues, email channels, portals, and workflows
• Optimize customer portals and knowledge-base integrations with Confluence
• Develop automation and escalation rules for incident, problem, and change management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Jira/Confluence issues, enhancements, and requests
• Troubleshoot system errors, performance issues, and plugin conflicts
• Provide end-user training and documentation
• Enforce platform governance, naming conventions, and access control
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, KPIs, and cross-team visibility
• Develop and manage automations using native tools or scripting (Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, REST APIs)
