Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate strong business and business planning skills to manage territories, build account strategies, and meet sales targets.
• Candidates should have solid analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends for recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to present solutions, negotiate terms, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong customer service skills to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Previous outside sales experience in janitorial/sanitation, paper, or industrial supplies is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with B2B distribution, healthcare/food service environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new customers and conduct in-person and virtual sales calls.
• Prepare quotes and proposals; coordinate product demonstrations for clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery.
• Responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of business accounts in the jan/san category.
• Engage in market research, territory planning, and upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory and work with CRM tools to track performance.
