Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Systems Support Specialist I in Rochester, NY to diagnose and resolve remote systems issues affecting networks, connectivity, and applications. The role includes working with customers, providing guidance, and escalating complex problems as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of IT support experience, familiarity with MS Office, and the ability to travel to sites when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related IT support experience across networks, connectivity, and software.
• Comfortable with installation and upgrades to network systems/equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to troubleshoot customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve systems support problems remotely (networks, interface, connectivity and applications).
• Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Escalate problems per department process and provide on-site visits when required.
• Provide support and training to customers on drivers, workstations, and software usage.
• Stay current with technology through training and research.
