Job summary

Dayton Roger's Contract is seeking an IT Specialist to join our remote team in the United States. You will manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks, to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and at least 3 years of IT support experience, with strengths in troubleshooting, security, and backups. You will collaborate with departments and manage vendor relationships while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience.
• Strong hardware, software, and network knowledge.
• Experience with network security and disaster recovery planning.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or MCSA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Manage and maintain company data backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure network security and implement necessary measures to protect company data.
• Provide technical support and training to employees on company systems and software.
• Stay updated on new technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve business processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services.
• Create and maintain IT documentation and procedures for future reference.
