Job summary

IronEdge Group, LTD seeks an IT Support Technician for a remote role open to applicants in TX, NM, AZ, CO or KS. You will provide front-line support, troubleshoot servers and networks, and escalate complex issues to senior staff while maintaining professional communication with users at all levels.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a Tier 1 IT support role, can create technical documentation, and is comfortable using ticketing and remote-access tools. CJIS background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Tier 1 IT support role.
• Experience in creating and using written technical documentation.
• Advanced problem solving with a focus on long-term stability.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote access tools.
• Effective cross-functional communication via Microsoft Teams.
• Provide friendly, professional support to clients over the phone and in person.
• All positions require CJIS background checks and eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot servers and network systems; resolve software and peripheral issues.
• Dispatch to client sites as needed and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
• Communicate professionally with users at all levels, including executives.
• Train end users or new team members as needed.
• Complete tickets to company standards and continually build technical skills.
