Job summary

Helpt is seeking multiple IT Support Technicians to join the team, focused on driver and fleet technology support.

At Helpt we provide 24x7x365 on-shore white-labeled technical support on behalf of a range of companies in MSP, Technology, and Product Support sectors whose clients rely on them for support at all hours — including trucking and fleet operations who need their drivers up, running, and compliant.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication to handle driver and dispatch calls.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Motivated self-starter with passion for technology and support.
L1 Helpdesk experience in a fast-paced environment.
Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.
Customer service oriented with a delight-in-help attitude.
Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Interest in printers and Bluetooth pairing issues.
Experience with ELD/telematics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Be excellent and friendly at all times to drivers, dispatchers, and fleet clients alike.
Receive inbound driver and fleet technology support calls including ELD logins, tablets, dashcams, connectivity.
Provide technical support through service, troubleshooting, and empathy.
Decide when a device needs replacement and coordinate vendor/RMA/shipment without involving dispatch.
Document notes clearly for hours-of-service or DVIR records.
