Job summary

Scorpion is seeking an IT Support Specialist to oversee computer systems for the company and provide internal assistance to all Scorpion users. You will ensure each team member is set up for success in their workstations and provide next-level customer service.

The ideal candidate is tech-savvy with strong customer service and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly, and eager to learn new hardware, software, and IT processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of help desk/technical support experience
• Experience with Windows or macOS environments preferred
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
• Proactive and customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Triage and route complex tickets to Senior team members
• Identify, investigate, and resolve software/hardware issues
• Handle support via calls, chat, and email
• Document steps and resolutions for future reference
• Assist with OS and application patch testing
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve problems
• Coordinate vendor service for hardware/software repairs
• Maintain inventory of hardware and adapt to new hires/swaps
