Job summary

Helsing is expanding its US presence in Washington, DC, seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the face of IT for the DC office and ensure seamless daily operations. You will own the technology footprint, manage hardware, AV setup, and O365 administration, with opportunities for growth as the local IT infrastructure expands.

You thrive as a proactive doer, comfortable working closely with people and hardware, and you will occasionally travel to facilities to support regional IT environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or service desk environments.
• Solid foundation in Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with Office 365 admin tools.
• Knowledge of MDM tools such as JAMF/Intune is helpful.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on IT support to the Washington, DC team as the first point of contact for service desk requests and troubleshooting.
• Manage the lifecycle of hardware, including deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows and macOS laptops and peripherals.
• Maintain and optimize office tech setups, including conference room AV equipment, network printers, and local connectivity.
• Manage user access and licensing across Office 365 and related productivity suites.
• Occasionally travel to operational facilities to set up and support localized IT environments.
